Each deck consists of 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The cards are made from 350gsm Zanta Games Board and the dimensions of each card are 70mm x 120mm. The deck comes in a black velvet drawstring bag with purple lining and has an accompanying tarot-card sized booklet that fits comfortably into the bag with the deck.
The process of creating ‘Tarot of Eternal Being’ spanned over ten years with each key conceived through focused meditation, contemplation and insightful dreams.
Although the deck is strongly influenced by traditional tarot decks, it has moved away from some of the more traditional meanings of the keys, particularly those frequently ascribed to the suit of Swords. The aim of this tarot deck is to provide pictorial imagery that opens the way for the reader to arrive at their own personal understanding of each tarot key. The illustrations contain motifs and symbolism that strive to encourage balanced and insightful interpretation.
There are astrological references to the keys to help build the reader’s understanding and give added insights. Each of the Minor Arcana keys has an astrological ascription taken from the Great Zodiacal Wheel of the Chaldean order of the planets, following the principles laid down by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and used by Aleister Crowley in the Thoth Tarot Deck.
The booklet contains suggested interpretations for each of the cards plus overall meanings for each group of courts and pips in the Minor Arcana. Under each card, you will also find a list of the symbolism used. Included at the end of the booklet is a simple three card spread with a variety of ways to use it.
