I originally studied art and design at Southend-on-Sea College of Art in the late 1960’s. My relocation to Lincolnshire in 1988 became the catalyst and inspiration for my return to a serious approach to making art. I worked independently for ten years attending workshops and courses and eventually re-entered full time education in 1998. I completed a foundation course in art and design at Newark and Sherwood College and went on to graduate from De Montfort University in Lincoln in 2002 with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art. My work has been exhibited widely, beginning at the Royal Academy in London at the age of 16yrs and is included in the Public Collection at the University of Lincoln and in many private collections nationally and internationally.
